Our Fees, Terms & Conditions
Please take note that this practice charges private rates. Your medical aid may not cover the entire bill so please check with your medical aid what your cover is. Should you have any concerns about our consulting or procedural fees prior to your visit, please contact our receptionist for an up-to-date quote including the portion to be paid by your medical aid. As a patient of the practice, you will be held liable for the difference outstanding should your medical aid not cover the entire invoice. This practice makes use of a third party billing agency, so please direct any billing-related queries to:

When visiting the practice for the first time, please ensure you bring along proof of identity, your medical aid card/details, and proof of any gap cover. We do have a card machine in the office in order to facilitate immediate payments, but unfortunately do not accept cash. Please contact reception for banking details should you wish to do an EFT.
PLEASE NOTE that we treat all your medical information with the utmost confidentiality, however, your illness information will get submitted to your medical aid for billing purposes. Your medical aid may inform the main member of any transactions happening on their account. We therefore cannot guarantee confidentiality on behalf of your medical aid provider.
We make use of electronic patient record management software and all your information is stored in a secure server after encryption. This makes for much more secure storage of your information compared with older paper filing systems as only the surgeon has access to your clinical notes. Your notes may need to be shared with other specialists and your GP from time to time. This will only be done with your consent, or in the case of life threatening emergencies where we can not obtain your consent.
